Simply put, bass fishing is very exhilarating due to the boisterous nature of these fish.
3. Bass Boats
So this is kind of a two way street, because you could say that bass fishing has made the bass boat popular, but you could also flip this around and say that bass boats have made bass fishing very popular.
In other words, manufacturer’s produce special boats designed specifically for bass fishing, known as bass boats (these don’t come cheap though).
These boats come loaded with all of the gear and tech you need to be the best bass angler around.

So, whether or not you have a boat to fish from, there’s always going to be an opportunity to catch a bass.
11. Competitions & Sport
Due to its popularity, there are now plenty of bass fishing competitions out there. Yeah, the person who catches the biggest or most fish usually gets a nice cash prize. There is usually no better incentive for people to do something than money.
If you knew that catching the biggest bass would earn you a $10,000 prize, you’d probably go to. Of course, the spirit of competition is also at play here.
